What is Stereolithography?

Stereolithography (SLA) is a resin-based 3D printing technology that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to selectively cure liquid photopolymer resin layer by layer. A laser or projector traces each cross-section, solidifying the resin to build parts with exceptional surface quality and fine detail resolution.

SLA produces the smoothest surfaces of any 3D printing technology, making it ideal for visual prototypes, concept models, and parts requiring fine features. With over 20 engineered resin formulations available, SLA can simulate materials ranging from rigid ABS-like plastics to flexible rubber and optically clear acrylic.

Our SLA service offers both standard and high-resolution options with build volumes up to 29 inches, enabling everything from detailed miniatures to large-scale prototypes.
